Dr Antony Hare BDS, FDSRCS, MSc, M’Orth. RCS.


Specialist Orthodontist & Practice Principal

Dr Hare did his initial training at University College London and graduated as a Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 1988.
After a series of hospital appointments in Restorative Dentistry and Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery he was awarded his Fellowship in Dental Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 1992. He commenced his full time training to become a specialist in Orthodontics at Kings College London, gaining an MSc in 1995 and his Membership in Orthodontics of the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 1996.
Dr Hare attends many national and international conferences to keep his clinical techniques up to date and is a committed member of a local peer review group in which local specialists share their knowledge and experiences with each other.
Dr Hare is a member of the British Dental Association, the British Orthodontic Society and the Orthodontic Study Circle of the Anglia Region. He is an elected member of the Norfolk Local Dental Committee and sits on the Norfolk Oral Health Advisory Group. He is also a past Chairman of the British Dental Association (Norfolk & Norwich Section) and now sits on the committee.

Dr Catrina Place BDS, FDS, M’™Orth, RCSEd, D’Orth. RCS.

Specialist Orthodontist

Dr Place did her initial dental training at Newcastle University, graduating as a Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 1987. After a series of hospital appointments she was awarded her Fellowship in Dental Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh in 1991. She then commenced her specialist orthodontic training on the Cambridge, Norwich and Guy’s rotation gaining her Diploma in Orthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 1992 and her Membership in Orthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 1992. Dr Place is also involved with teaching and supervision of orthodontic trainees at the Norfolk & Norwich Hospital.

Mrs Jo Jenner

Practice Manager

Jo qualified as a Dental Nurse in 1995 achieving the National Certificate in Dental Nursing. In 1998 she completed the qualification in Dental Radiography.
Jo joined the practice team in 2000 initially as a Dental Nurse but she rose through the ranks to become the Practice Manager in 2003. She gained the BTEC Diploma in Dental Practice Management in 2008.
Jo is responsible for the smooth running of both practices but is always ready to deal with queries that patients or prospective patients might have when the Orthodontic Specialists are busy in surgery.

Mrs Sarah Westgate

Orthodontic Therapist

Sarah joined the practice in June 2005 and achieved her National Certificate in Dental Nursing in 2007, before completing the qualification in Dental Radiography in 2008.
After working as a Dental Nurse for 7 years, Sarah was selected for the Orthodontic Therapist training programme run by the Royal College of Surgeons of England achieving her diploma in 2013.
Sarah now works alongside the orthodontists and is able to carry out a variety of clinical procedures.

Nursing and Support Staff

Our nursing team are fully qualified Dental Nurses and most also have the additional certificate in Dental Radiography.
All our nursing staff are encouraged to develop their orthodontic careers by gaining extra qualifications and the practice supports them with career development. Members of the team are registered with the General Dental Council and attend regular meetings and conferences to keep their skills up to date.

All the staff have many years experience in orthodontics and are very happy to answer any queries patients may have regarding orthodontic treatment.
